I'm sure many of you are wondering where the name Frith Ra came from, and why its now my preferred name on the internet. Allow me to give you a brief history on it.

The name Frith actually comes from a book called Watership Down, written by Richard Adams. In the book, Frith was the sun, the god of all life. I was given the nickname of Frith years ago but the addition of the last name Ra didn't occur until I joined Second Life for a little while. For those who aren't familiar with Second Life, you are forced to pick a last name from a drop down list when you make your account. Ra was one of those names and for me it stuck out the most. Before long I made the last name an official part of my nickname, and soon everyone began to know me as Frith Ra (but most still just call me Frith).

Many of you are aware that my public image is a black wolf with dark blue eyes. There is also a reason for this as well. I've never kept it a secret that I am actually a furry. Like all furs I get my fair share of oppression and nasty comments, but I don't care anymore what people think. I've accepted that it is part of who I am as a person and am not afraid to show it. When I first started out as a fur, I was a black rabbit. This image fit a little better with the name of Frith, but it wasn't the right symbol for who I was. I changed it to a fox for a brief time, but that didn't work so well either. Finally one day an animal symbol came to me, the Wolf. I figured this one fit me well, as wolves are very intelligent and majestic creatures. They work with a pack to survive, and always defend each other. This was in many ways like me and how I was with my friends. Now I am known as a Black Wolf.

Not long after I found my wolf side did I learn of a few of my closest friends also being furs. We began to hang out a lot more now that we all had a very big thing in common. We found support with each other when other people gave us grief for our differences. One day we made a pact. We would stay united, and shine bright as a symbol to furs everywhere. That day our pack was born. We knew it couldn't be a real pack without an Alpha, a leader, to run it. The others agreed that I was the the best one among them for the spot, so I was deemed the leader of the pack. After quite some time we decided we needed a name, and with luck we found one. At the time the pack members were all canine furs, so we named ourselves Canine Fury. To this day our pack still stands, and we would fight to protect it.

Aside from me being a furry, I'm just your regular guy. I like to spend time gaming with my friends, making videos, listening to music, or even writing stories. I'm a creative person and enjoy making cool new things. When I'm not playing online, I'm usually working on a number of projects. They range from various stories, to working on websites, to making animated movies. While I'm not horribly good at animation, I strive to learn all I can about it and perfect my methods. Lately I haven't made many videos, but I'm working to get back into the habit. Keep your eye on the "Whats new?" page. Never know when I might make something new! ;)
